Dalle De Verre (stained art glass using blenko slab glass)

New at Glass Mountain are these colorful Art Windows or “Dalle De Verre”. We cut pieces of slab glass an inch thick to create images and patterns. The pieces are then cast in an epoxy resin to form a window panel or pane (14” x 20” x 1”) that can be sealed into a wall or window frame. It is a very old technique that we are making anew. The panels or windows are colorful and will cheer up a whole room. Brighten up you life with color and shapes that are unique, stunning and playful. We are also making smaller pieces that can stand on the window sill in the shape of a butterfly, a tree or a prism.
